Accidental Mummies

This eight-character play, written in 2013 was inspired by actual events taking place in Guanajuato, Mexico and what the author feared was about to happen in the United States of America. A woman is thrown into jail for having an abortion, is saved by the maternal love she feels for and is shown by fellow inmates. The women discover the meaning of the word “maternal,” and what is the job of a mother.
